The all-new TX offers three powertrain options to suit diverse needs: a Lexus-first 3.5L V6 plug-in hybrid, a high-performance 2.4L turbocharged hybrid, and a powerful 3.5L V6 engine with DIRECT4 all-wheel drive. The TX 350 (FWD/AWD) delivers refined driving performance. The TX 500h (DIRECT4 AWD) combines a 2.4L turbocharged Parallel Hybrid system with F SPORT Performance, DIRECT4, and Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) for enhanced maneuverability and stability. The TX 550h+ (DIRECT4 AWD) is a plug-in hybrid with a projected 33-mile EV range, and it will be the first Lexus PHEV assembled in North America, available at a later date.
As a standard feature, the 2024 TX models are equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, providing drivers and passengers with added peace of mind. To enhance parking convenience, Advanced Park assists with both perpendicular and parallel parking. With an active Drive Connect trial or subscription, Traffic Jam Assist becomes available, providing monitoring and response to traffic conditions during low-speed driving on limited access roadways. It automatically adjusts the vehicle's movement and braking to maintain a safe following distance.
